DwD 0476: Racing Classes – Builder’s Classes vs Driver’s Classes (Jeremy Fills In)
There are generically two different types of racing series. One is a builder’s class where you can build and enter almost anything that complies with a fairly open rule book. Other racing classes are more specific on what cars and modification are allowed and focus more on the difference being largely due to the driver skill and relatively less on the car build. Spec class racing is usually more of a driver’s class type of racing. We discuss some of the differences between these two types of series and help show the advantages and disadvantages of each. Probably the first part of many in this area.
