Shawn has been racing in Lemons from the Altamont days and has been judging for many, many races.  He has a ton of stories and as our great friend Jeff once said about Mental, the man can spin a yarn.  If you need a full blanket, this episode is for you, lol.

Rally Master Jeff Stobbs joins us again to review the recent Lemons rally that went to the 49th state.  This was a first time event and easily one of the most memorable rallies that Lemons has hosted.  How did it go?  Did anyone hit a moose or have a moose hit them?  What did the locals think of a Lemons rally?  Did they sacrifice any cars to the Rally gods by driving them off a cliff?  Tune in and find out.  Same Bat Time.  Same Bat Channel.

GHiT 0471:  Zach Caldwell Live from the Vannonball Great American Bro’d Trip

Calling in live from GingerMan, Zach Caldwell calls from his fourth straight race weekend in the race van to conclude the 2023 Great American Vannonball Bro’d Trip. Why race in a minivan? Who would race 4 weekends in a row?  Why a 2006 Dodge Caravan is the world’s greatest race car? How tired can one person be?  All this and more in this one. Bill has some terrible ideas brewing.

In summary, the Great American Bro’d trip started off in Detroit and after 2,100 miles race 1 at Thunder Hill.  A swift and easy 700 miles to High Plains Raceway.  A few gallons of gas and 1,700 miles to NJMP Thunderbolt. And a final leg to a surprising entry to GingerMan raceway. To get back home after this, it was only 350 miles that took around 12 fatigue induced hours, lol.

We try to record our wrap up episodes as quickly as possible, but this may have been a bit too quickly as most/all of us were still in zombie mode.  For this race, we raced the El Jeffe Chevy S-10/Isuzu Hombre trophy truck and our 1993 EG Civic.  In addition, we were also acting as ambassadors for two different entries, a 1991 BMW 535, and our friends (and future podcast guests) from Waka Motorsports in their Civic.  Also, during the weekend, we ran into a long lost missing friend and prior NJMP GHiT racing teammate Aaron who was working with another all ladies team that was fielding two cars for the Jessi Combs Foundation
