Episode 0016: WOOT#3 Aquaman Review

And All Time DC Movies: Top 5 and Bottom 5

Aquaman
Aquaman, lol.

Over the weekend, most of our team went to see the latest DC movie release Aquaman. For this episode, Bill was again joined by Benny Olivares and they discussed their feelings about the movie, things that they felt went well and some that maybe coudl have been improved.

After their usual digressions and conversational detours covering the Aquaman movie, they then decided to cover the all time DC movie catalog. Initially, we ranked our top 5 DC movies of all time, starting from the original Superman movie starring Christopher Reeves from the late 1970’s and covering all movies released including Aquaman.

Please us know how you feel about our lists or even better what your lists would be. We would love to hear from you. Its always good to know htat this “thing is on”, lol.

Episode 0015: Chris LoCurto

Chris LoCurto National Champion Race Driver
Chris LoCurto National Champion Race Driver

Chris LoCurto has been a mentor to most of our team for many years.  It originally started when we first heard him hosting the Dave Ramsey “EntreLeadership” podcast and then when he started his own business and podcast “The Chris LoCurto Show“.  We never missed an episode.

Vicki and Bill have also had personal coaching from Chris for several years and gained a tremendous amount of insight into ourselves and each other.  We highly recommend both his podcast and his coaching.

What many may not know about Chris is that he is a true car guy and races several times a year, winning many races and championships.  I’m sure he’d race more if his schedule would allow, but his is too generous with his time instead giving it to help others

Chris is an accomplished entrepreneur, speaker, coach, and leader of leaders helping businesses and individuals realize and maximize their personal and professional potential.

He pours his great passion for people, along with decades of experience and perspective, into his daily work with business leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals. It’s this passion and insight that has lead businesses to explode their revenue and help to realize their potential and live a strong life.

Today, Chris owns and leads the Poimen Group, LLC – a life, business, and leadership coaching business predicated on serving individuals and businesses in the US and around the world. Chris and his team employ coaching vehicles, which include strategic business planning, one-on-one leadership coaching, mastermind groups, life coaching, live events, and more.

If you ever feel like this would help you in your life or business, we would fully endorse Chris and his team as an excellent source to assist you or someone you know capitalize on their skills and talents and find their way to true success.

Episodes 0014: WooT #2 Into the Spiderverse

(Audio Fixed)

Into the Spider-Verse

Over the weekend, most of our team went to see Into the Spiderverse.  It has become Mia’s all time favorite super hero movie.  I am sure we will see it many times int he coming weeks and months.

For this episode, Bill was joined by a friend who has even more comic book knowledge, especially for recent issues and events.  Benny Olivares will likely join us for many of our comic related WOOT episodes top come. We haven’t convinced him to come join us on the track.  Yet.  You can expect to see another WOOT episode for Aquaman in a week or two.

Episode 0013: Goals for the GHiT Team 2019

One way to get things done is by using Goals
Setting goals is one way to help make sure to get things done

Alan and Bill review the past week and outline several of their personal and team goals for our racing season next year.

The consistent use of goals, goal setting, and developing a detailed process to achieve them is key to our progress and many other aspects of our lives.

We hope you listen to the episode and it may help you in so many ways, not just in racing.

Also, please let us know what your goals are and we can discuss them or we may be able to help you with them on an upcoming episode.

We had a blast and we hope it shows on the podcasts.

And from the bat cave, Alan discusses various methids and tools to lift you car to make working on it easier.

Episodes 10, 11 & 12: Road Atlanta Race

It was an awesome race, but cold and rainy

Our team went to race at Road Atlanta for our first time.  When you think about Atlanta, we usually don’t think of cold, but for the second year in a row, the weather was cold, rainy/snowy.  Since Road Atlanta is a fast track with lots of elevation changes so learning it in the cold rain was less than optimal.

We did a total of three episodes for this race.  Friday night we tried a quick update recording from our hotel.  It went to so well (?) that we did it again on Saturday.  These episodes have nearly zero editing and we didn’t have access to our usually microphones. so your mileage may vary.

We had a blast and we hope it shows on the podcasts.

We finally posted a final race recap after a week of recording issues.
